Rich in antioxidants
Cacao is packed with antioxidants that combat oxidative stress, a natural byproduct of intense physical activity. Plus, cacao powder contains some fibre, and some studies have shown that cacao powder has prebiotic effects and can help elevate mood.

Protein boost for recovery
Adding collagen provides your body with essential amino acids that support joint health, muscle repair, and even skin health. Plus, adding milk or soy milk will provide some additional protein.
